It will go down the road right now. I didn't chew all the way through it. But I chewed off quite a bit of life from it and would rather not have another breakdown 20 miles back in the blues. Not to mention a trip down to NoCal next month.

It's got some funky connecters on the ends is the issue. There's about a foot of flex line and another foot to foot and a half of bent tubing. The Jeep dealer in Kennewick is the ones telling me that the Rubi axes with the disk breaks has different connector than the standard. I haven't really messe...

Break line fabrication

So part of the casualty list from breaking my upper control arm brackets off the back axle was the break line on the drivers side of the axle. So far none of the parts shops have been able to find the part and the dealer wants $450 for a line that is all of about 2 foot. I believe the term for that ...

After the last week I think the top is going to have to wait until next summer. I'll just put the hard top on when I need it. Had a small disaster with the back axle that used up all my oh $h!t funds :? I did contact that shop before I got the other bill though and they wanted 115 for anybody tat wa...

Soft top sewing??

Are there any local shops in the area that can replace the rear window zipper on a soft top? Or if not does anybody know of a good place to send it off to? The rest of the top is still in good shape so I can't see replacing the whole thing.

I'd be contacting a congressman regardless of what the recruiter tells you. Firstly, a Congressman will be able to push things through that a recruiter won't have a chance in h**l of pushing through. Secondly, if the current restrictions you are falling under make no sense, he is also in a possition...

Well it looks like they finally have my Med board papers fixed!! Should be just an issue of all the Admin crud and clearing for the discharge now. Knock on wood. They were supposed to have me out sometime last fall, so this is a huge relief to finally have it coming to an end. Beating my head agains...

lol Like I said. Looking for more information on it then some guy working a counter. ARB's site really doesn't offer much about it either unfortunately. Still running the stock Rubi lockers for now and at some point would like to upgrade to an ARB locked set up. Whatever the PSI, the compresser has ...

I've been juggling different options for air also. One that a local shop mentioned was an ARB multipurpose unit. It has a main higher pressure outlet to plumb to a tank on the rig, and also two 8psi outlets to run front and rear lockers. It's an electric unit and not engine mounted. I'm wonderig if ...

Naches Valley this weekend

I have the old American River Guard Station (aka primative cabin) rented for Fri/Sat/Sun nights this weekend. Heading up there with a buddy from Lewis and his kids. If anybody is wheeling in the area feel free to stop in. Turn of 410 to Bumbing Lake Rd and then take your first left after the bridge ...

Thanks Sams. I'll have back pain the rest of my life, but should be able to recover enough for a mostly normal life eventually. Still count myself as one of the lucky ones with that. The sad part is that if it was some rich dudes Benz or Beemer they would have at least tried for a couple of days to find something. Ultimately though, this side of the mountains just has way to much crime. The cops themselves aren't even safe with the rate they've been getting killed around here in...

Had to pick up some parts from Four Wheel Parts in Tacoma today and gave them a heads up too incase they see anything. Hopefully it can be recovered in good condition and you don't have to fight with insurance companies.

I cook Elk roasts in a dutch oven pretty often. Unless you have a retard moment (or to much beer), it's hard to reck a roast in those things. Hell I brought one to Iraq with me and would buy lamb roasts off the locals during patrols to bring back and cook up for my team. Had family sending me bread ...
