who has bent a JK D44 tube or C???

Re: Where to find cb radio accessories in TC?

A local truck stop likely has antennas and basic accessories like spring and mic mounts. I know the ones off 395 north of Hwy 12 have a selection.

Re: Building a shop

Rottwheeler, I used Steel Structures America to build my shop but really wish I had gone with Quality. I'll gladly tell the horror story SSA put me through, but the short version is it took almost a year to get at 24 x 36 x 12 shop built, and untold attorney fees and liens. I have a couple hundred ...

Slab, electrical, plumbing, siding, x2 12x14 doors, x1 man door, x4 windows, siding, roofing, 20'x30' front apron, all materials, landscaping (as needed), required plans, engineering, b...

Re: Building a shop

I just got quotes from (3) local builders for a 36' x 48' x 16' pole building with (1) 12' x 14' "RV" overhead door, (2) 10' x 10' overhead doors and (1) 30" walk through door. Quotes range from $38k to $45k and include 4" concrete pad, 4" x 6" posts, 35-40lb snow load,...

Re: What did you do to your wheeler today?

Yep... new rig is certainly not as "rock worthy" as the LJ... but the JKUR will fill a dual-purpose role as a daily driver and family wheeler. I'll be shopping for a salvage / cheap TJ for a more carefree (don't need to drive it to work Monday morning) trail rig that I can push to it's lim...

Well... I did something spontaneous over the weekend... traded away my little red LJ for this:

If anyone is interested in the LJ, it is at the Lithia Jeep dealership in Kennewick.

So... how stable is the trailer with two adults floppin' around upstairs? Does it have to be connected to the vehicle... or do you have outriggers planned? :P

Re: What did you do to your wheeler today?

I replaced my 5.5" springs with 3.5" springs on my LJ. Was tired of the body roll around corners and behavior in crosswinds. Have some minor track bar adjustments to maker today. :thu: Wow, 2" lower! You must be hunkered down on those tires now! Pics? Before: http://i973.photobucket....

Re: Wanted: Help with Family Style Roll Cage

Thought? Just mine: Cut and splice the back bars to the length needed. This will be close for the 3 row. Cut and splice will probably need to done to the rear bars to reach the floor Run a bar down for the middle seat, put sleeves in for seatbelt mounts. Run a bar, left to right, to tie the back ba...
