Seems that the "panic mechanic" could have just let the motorhome rest for a few hours to relieve it of vapor lock. But instead, ran to e burg to buy fuel pump and filter only to ruin new fuel pump upon installation. I had it towed to union gap where they installed another new fuel pump th...

The heat source will be a hot tub heater. There are other heat sources available. If the shop is well insulated it should ...

If you leave the front open, you don't really need the bling bling axles with 33s. For my money, I'd leave the lift just like it is, trim the fenders/bumpstop to clear the tires and spend the $1100 on safety/recovery. Cage, etc. Agreed. Leave it open and wheel that thing. Getting caught up in the b...

So I started building a custom Jeep hauler. (Project #1) While intermittently working on my trailer when parts are available ...

My XJ was a virgin till the Darland run when i kept graviitatin' toward the trees. Thats where i got the nice lil' rash. Just as well, now cuttin' the fenders out will not be near as painful for me. :P

Well, it was a project xj that a co-worker spent a few years building and then decided he was a (REAL) JEEP guy, so he started building another square eyed one. He felt bad when he left the XJ outside in the lonely cold in order to house the other jeep and when his conscience got the best of him he ...

Toyota Project

I am starting to tear into my old 81 Toyota longbed so I can make a wheeler for my oldest son. Currently i have a beat up pickup, needs new motor. I tore the poor whipped bed off of it. Just tonight i did score a 87 efi 4 cyl with the computer harnesses, trans etc with 63k orig. miles on it for $400...
