most of youre post goes over my head... I'm not a 4x4 guy but I am a gearhead so please excuse my lack of knowledge concerning "cutting up cases "...please explain youre thought process. As I understand it "IF" i hads used ford axles the drop would have been on the samr side. BUT...

I was informed that the old skool 203 / 4 speed would be a direct bolt in. Lots of around from the 60's still. I think I found one in moses lake. Since i'm using full size axles and to keep it simple... Doubler ? I have no exp with and I really dont think I will need one for playing on trails, etc. ...

No its an 8 lug rear end that came from a 3/4 ton 4x4 from 66'...... and i have the matching Dana 44 front with 3.73 gears and 8 lug rims ~ NOW, as far as the 94 ford f-250 leaf packs being fiberglass one pc. i'm assuming they are going to flex well !
