Re: 2005 LJ
I like your idea for traction devices. The LS rear-end in these is really good. The arb compressor works well. I have had a few of them. I also like your use of the stock wheels. I went away from them and bought steelies. They are hard to balance and deal with. I am seriously considering going back....

Re: 2005 LJ
Thanks for the info. She still runs like a champ. Wheels great too! The lube lockers are great. When I popped the rear end open it was a pleasant surprise. I have replaced the radiator, added an sye kit and adams driveshafts. We just replaced the control arms with the Metalcloak double adjustable al...

Did you rebuild the engine or tranny? They are working great, but I don't have any background info. Also, do you r...

I put mine above the mirror. It was very easy, just ran the wires along the roll bar. I really like it up out of the way, but easy to access. I just screw the screws into the plastic. It holds really well. I can still get the freedom tops off easily. I ran the antenna wire down the roll bar and unde...

Skid Plates
So........I would seriously think about the oil pan to tranny pan skid. I had to replace my oil pan. I put a small dent in it out in Weber canyon.(only had the jeep for 6 weeks.) The oil pick up is amazingly close to the bottom of the VERY small oil pan. Don't look at the crappy Rancho bolt over pan...

Trail Damage
Turns out I mangled the oil pan as well. We trimmed the fenders yesterday, and when I was under the jeep looking for a lost screw I found the bent oil pan. No leaks, but pretty mangled.

Is that too rough for my stock JKU? Interested in going, but not in killing my Jeep.
