Re: What did you do to your wheeler today?

Maybe, I came across them when I started looking for an alternative to bead locks. Saw a couple of youtube videos and one guy doing snow wheeling at 0psi with the bead grips. I am going to need to take them out to Juniper one of these days and go down to 8 PSI. What I like about them is that Les Swa...

Re: What did you do to your wheeler today?

Got the winch mounted today. Talked to a friend who has access to a CNC Mill and we are going to create some aluminum blocks that I can place under the fairlead to move the license plate under it and allow the license plate to sit vertically. Re: What did you do to your wheeler today?

I finally got my new rugged ridge full-width bumper installed with the help of a friend. I also test-fitted the Winch. Plan to install the winch next weekend. I also plan to move the license plate to below the fairlead. I am working with a friend who is going to mil some aluminum and create a couple...

Tire size Question

I have been out of the game for about 10 years. When I stopped the first time, you could just about go anywhere here in the PNW with 35's. Is that still the case or should I be planning on going with 37's? My JKU is already on 33's but at stock suspension. I am trying to future plan for what size li...

Been long time

Been a long time since I posted. Use to drive a green Cherokee on 33's. Now I have a 2016 Wrangler Rubicon on 33's. Got out of Wheeling right after college about 8 years ago as the Cherokee broke and I couldn't fix it. Last year I got my hands on a nice Rubi and have been slowly getting back into li...

well I finally got it out, my brother came by after work and helped me. Stupid me I missed 2 bolts holding the damn thing on. The two bolts right below the inverse torx. They were covered in grime and hard to see. So once we got those two off, the transmission came out easy. We had to jack up the fr...

So my dad and I finally got around to working on the jeep again today. Got off all the hoses, plugs, and bolts that were holding it on. But the damn thing still wont come off. We took a tow rope and tied it around it so we could pull it back from behind the jeep, and I was under the jeep and behind ...

So my transmission has been going out for about 2+ years now. Reverse has slowly been dying on me, about two months ago it finally went. The clutch packs just refuse to engage or something. (half the tear down is to find the problem) Finally today Optiskate and I got around to actually getting the j...
