Re: 09 JKUR
So far I am impressed with the kit. Other than the custom Teraflex parts (spindles, etc.), it's all off the shelf Spicer stuff you can get at any NAPA.

Re: 09 JKUR
Of course new wheels HAD to be ordered due to the 8 lug pattern.
All in with wheels and everything I am still ahead of where I would be if I bought a bolt in D60. Next is to gather up all of the take off parts and see what I can recoup back into the budget.

This is kind of a re-introduction to the Jeep formerly known as Trail Cow. I was looking back at Toby's original build and it has been through many iterations since I adopted it. It's affectionately known as Balloon Animal in our house now. The most recent project started innocently enough. The park...

Re: HELP!
Not sure if this is much help, but when I was having electrical gremlins after my engine swap I downloaded wiring diagrams from this site. Big https://portal-diagnostov.com/en/root/rukovodstva-po-remontu-on-line/elektroshemy/jeep/ Do you know what connector/component that harness goes to?

Firestone MT/2
I have (2) Firestone MT/2s, 37/12.50R17 tires. About 50% tread. $200 ea.
Current price on discounttiredirect.com is $441.99 ea.
Also have two more that have bead damage but would make shop rollers or really nice tire swings

Re: It happens to everyone, right?
I had similar issues about a year ago. Ditto Toby's comment on balance etc. It affects DW but doesn't cause it. I replaced control arms with RockJock uppers and lowers and JKS track bar. Iron Rock Offroad makes a press in upper joint for the axle side that is similar to a Johnny Joint. The other thi...

Re: It happens to everyone, right?
I ran Dyna Beads for while in 37" Firestone MT2s. Worked great for a while but diminished over time. I was daily driving them though.

If anyone knows of a computer tech for the Jeep, I could use one. I'm having can-bus comm issues with my JKUR.
Full disclosure, It also has a 6.0 LS so it needs to be someone not afraid of conversions.

Re: Fox shock service
I would guess about 30K.
This is mostly newby JK stuff. Never worried about it on the YJ. Shocks were consumable on it, if it even needed them.

Fox shock service
Fox's recommended service interval for 100% street use is 10K miles to check Nitrogen and 50K for full service, seals and oil. Throw in an trail here and there and living in East Kennewick and the interval might shorten up some. So, the big question is... Does/has anyone performed any of this on the...

Superduty door seal
Ford 9C3Z-2651223-A Weatherstrip
I bought 1 too many seals for my 04 F250 Crew Cab. This is the drivers side outer seal that runs from the cowl to the rear door. It is $69 on Amazon and over $100 at Ford. Can be yours for $50!
