Recently changed my tie-down program to these. Could not be happier with how clean and easy they are to use compared to axle straps :thu:

I’ve got a YJ housing and knuckles if that helps? Not sure if he’s looking for bolt in or something to rebuild?

Re: One Fiddy v2.0

In this episode, we take a dive into air intakes and exhaust systems! The days of OEM’s leaving a bunch of horsepower on the table due to restrictive air intakes and exhaust systems are pretty well behind us, as they are fighting for every available ounce of power and efficiency, within the limits o...

Recovery Ropes

With the recent demise of my beloved tow strap, I'm in the market for some new gear. I've seen a lot of information on the kinetic recovery ropes, and am looking for feedback from anyone that has one or has used one, compared to your typical recovery strap... What size(s) are you using? How are they...

Dust to Snow 5-11-2019

With baseball and soccer seasons in full swing, it was a miracle to find a 24-hour window on the calendar that didn't involve a sports field somewhere. As soon as the anomaly was discovered and verified, a plan was made to make the best use of the rare window of opportunity. Wheelin trip!! In attend...

Re: WTB JK take off wheels, or JL.

Dave - I have my JLU-R factory wheels sitting behind the shop. They have some trail scares, but are perfectly good wheels otherwise.

Re: One Fiddy v2.0

Installed a set of Ford OEM splash guards both front and back, which are doing a great job of keeping debris not only off the sides of the pickup but more importantly out of the pivot mechanisms on the power running boards. :thu: Also got an SCT-X4 device loaded with custom tunes from 5-Star Tuning....

Do something to get that spare tire tucked back up against the tailgate where it belongs before the tailgate falls apart. Trust me

Re: Trailer placement

The only way to do it right is to weigh the trailer axles separately, but that picture doesn't look too far off from how I've normally run mine over the years. :thu:

The crew met up at Maverik at 0800, and we promptly loaded up and headed West: https://i.imgur.com/IVnR53V.jpg As we trundled along Ahtanum Road toward Tampico, the sun began to peak out of the clouds and gave us a glimpse of the beautiful blue sky we would enjoy for the rest of the day: https://i.i...

Post-Snowpocalypse Exploration 2-17-2019

With the recent incredible snowfall down here, we were just itching to see what had become of the higher elevation areas. So, we met up at Maverik around 0700 for some fuel and a burrito, and pointed the steeds westward under cloudy skies and over icy roads: https://i.imgur.com/qgxLHks.jpg We stoppe...

Re: One Fiddy v2.0

Thanks! Yeah, the 1/2-tons of today are rated like 3/4-tons from less than a decade ago, but they ride and drive infinitely better :lol2 With that said, make no mistake I'd rather tow with a heavier duty truck. But, that's only a fraction of the miles I put on in a given year, so it's just not worth...

One Fiddy v2.0

We had bought the Dodge for a very specific purpose, and that was to tow big stuff: https://i.imgur.com/qRHOSyy.jpg https://i.imgur.com/YLBnl1k.jpg And it did that admirably on many, many occasions. The toy hauler, however, was the main focus for the Dodge platform and while I thoroughly enjoyed the...

Snow Run 1-05-2019

The dumping of snow in the Cascades over the New Year’s holiday meant only one thing: SNOW RUN!!! So we loaded up the wagon, and met the rest of the gang early the next morning at the Maverik in West Richland: https://i.imgur.com/Pk8CYEe.jpg https://i.imgur.com/32sk7sQ.jpg Gotta love seeing nothing ...
