PUAM September 19-21 2025
We had a great time even though we couldn't spend the whole day on the trails. We ended up cleaning up campsites along Little Naches Rd, and then I had to test the new Toyo R/T 35's by going up the lower Kaner 676 fully aired up to the forest road, then back down. Not much of a test. No mud and dry....

I've downsized...tires.
:( Life has been throwing us curveballs. Over the last couple of years, 99% of JLUR life has been on the street, or dragged all over the PNW behind the motorhome. I had to make the practical decision to remove the 37" MTs and replace them with a 35" hybrid tire. I settled on the Toyo RT Tr...

Re: Tilt Deck Trailer Discussion
Like Cory said, I never used the ramps on my dovetail trailer for anything with 35"+ tires. At work we have two 12K trailers. One tilt, one with ramps. The tilt is the trailer the driver's always grab first if what they are hauling runs. It is similar to your 3rd pic. The trailer with ramps has...

Hockey pucks for the win! I used them on the TJ. Can't remember if they were still on it when I sold it.
I am enjoying watching this build.

Re: New Years Run 2025
Are we supposed to re-torque those things periodically? I've heard it's a good idea, but I've never actually done it.
Great video! Wish I could of made it. Not sure how the minivan would have done.

Torque Multipier available
I bought a torque multiplier tool to break loose the 450 foot pound lug nuts on my 22.5" motorhome wheels some time ago. If anyone has a need to borrow it, just let me know. It has multiple sized sockets.

Re: HP Dana 30 ARB Install
Excellent! That was a plan of mine that never came to be. As you know, dual ARB harness is there, and I powered the craptastic front elocker from the front locker switch connector above the pump. Keep the air line away from hot stuff while providing plenty of line for downtravel. I'm sure you know a...

Nothing. I'm finally able to do absolutely nothing. It's about time. Well, I may or may not have prepared frosty beverages, or bbq'd a once live animal. Thankful and blessed.

This was yesterday before the snow storm. This morning at 2 am, the drive to 100 area was even better! Only 7 untouched inches, but getting paid overtime to blaze a trail wasn't too painful. Lol.

Free Jeep slush mats, 2 sets.
Wheathertech and Rugged Ridge. My JLUR came with 2 complete sets of winter slush mats in the cargo area when I bought it. Went to put them in and they don't fit. The attachment points don't line up. I'm sure they are for a JKU, since mine is a 2018 when Jeep made both models. Did I mention they were...

Waaaay better!
Very nice. That was one of the reasons I parted with my JTR. Plus the fact that I have no collection of smaller rigs, and zero gluing skills.
