Nice! I may or may not have seen the lower version go by the jobsite recently.

Re: Random Picture Thread
This was yesterday before the snow storm. This morning at 2 am, the drive to 100 area was even better! Only 7 untouched inches, but getting paid overtime to blaze a trail wasn't too painful. Lol.

Free Jeep slush mats, 2 sets.
Wheathertech and Rugged Ridge. My JLUR came with 2 complete sets of winter slush mats in the cargo area when I bought it. Went to put them in and they don't fit. The attachment points don't line up. I'm sure they are for a JKU, since mine is a 2018 when Jeep made both models. Did I mention they were...

Waaaay better! Very nice. That was one of the reasons I parted with my JTR. Plus the fact that I have no collection of smaller rigs, and zero gluing skills.

Yes, Elk Ridge next to Jim Sprick. A little chilly at night, but the motorized tent has an electric heater/fireplace.

Might as well get another weekend or two in before winterizing. Can you tell where we're at?

One new 37" tire mounted to replace the tire I destroyed at PUAM last weekend. :y Had the inside of the front tire patched over the plug repair we also did at PUAM. :y It was a bad tire weekend for me! Then I loaded up my new factory replica steel winch bumper and headed to Dr. Scumby's ...

Pick up a Mountain 2023 9/15-9/17
Pick up a Mountain 2023 was another good one. The second "glad I carry a spare" event in my wheeling career. A few Peakputters and Desert Rats lined up at the Jim Sprick gate shortly before noon Friday. There was a gatekeeper this year keeping us out until 12:00. ;( We were still able to c...

Just heard about a canned food drive being collected at PUAM. If you have anything to donate, bring it.

Is there any fee for camping at Jim Sprick that weekend?
$40.00 for the weekend this year.
For those using stabilizing/leveling jacks for their RV, don't forget to bring some kind of pad to protect their grass. I just use some square pieces of 3/4" plywood.

The bilge pump worked for the first time during the boat races. The reason I needed to use it might be expensive. 20230730_122809.jpg And it was. B.O.A.T. Break out another thousand! At least the V8 didn't need to be pulled to fix it, only the outdrive. All new gimble bearing, driveline u-j...

Re: Random Picture Thread
Although no match for a Gladiator Rubicon's towing capacity, the JLUR did surprisingly well towing the old 93 Reinell. Doesn't even squat that much. As far as the old boat, it has been sitting for two years. My doctor wouldn't let me go in the river after last years melanoma surgery on my calf. In t...

Brand new in box. Camco RV ladder mount flag holder. Put you house flag in it. I decided to go with something different when climbing ladders was more difficult.

22.5s are torqued to 450 lbs. Once I get them back on, I can cruise by Schwabby's and have them torque them real quick with their 8' long torque wrench. :) New Sumo springs will be here Friday, torque multiplier set Saturday. But, I'm trying to get the boat ready for boat races this weekend....
