Probably work for what you want. I need something heavier for what I do. I need to be able to lift and stand under a 1 ton diesel without worrying about it falling on me. It's rated at 9k and since the diesels that have been on it were so freaking long we used big stands to stabilize them. No probl...

I know he paid $1800 shipped brand new though. I've looked around a bit and summit has an 11k 2 stage front, 3 stage rear arm w i d e unit for $3200 that I thought looked solid.

My brother put in a 9 clear base. It gas a ram on both sides and cables. It works lifting quad cab long box diesels but we don't get under them without big jack stands stabilizing both ends. One thing to keep in mind is all the things that go along with the lift. Extended height oil drain, big stand...

Stripped pinion splines or stripped the teeth off of the pinion gear? I've destroyed piles of gear sets, when I got rid of my 84 V8 truck it had #11 and #12 3rd members in it.

Does the alternator original to the Jeep not bolt into the mount on the new engine? Or is the newer alternator a higher amperage so you're trying to retrofit?

If you'd run a detergent oil such as del 400 or Rotella t you wouldn't have to use that crap to clean the gunk out.

If there is a next time just replace a quart or two of engine oil with atf on the next oil change and you'll accomplish the same thing as that bottle of voodoo.

That's funny, he told me he was having problems with it and asking about other trucks. He went over to the wet side and picked up a 4.6 for a project and hit a spot of black ice on the way home. The engine survived just fine since it fell out and landed on the flex plate. The truck is very fix able...

Yea we went and drug it home Saturday. We hooked up a couple pair of jumper cables to it off the dodge and it fired right up and drove onto the trailer. It couldn't have gone much easier than it did.

Dual in/out harness is plug and play. All you have to do is mount the ballasts and relays and run the + and - wires. I had the xb converted in about 5 minutes flat.

Ddm doesn't allow linking to optioned setups so your links are the same. If you want to stay with incandescent go to your local parts store and get some Wagner 80/100 watt bulbs and upgrade to relayed harnesses to power them. If going hid click one of those ddm links and option it with dual in/out h...

I have 5500k 35w HID fogs on my TJ, and they behave like you say, great in the snow, but not as great the rest of the time. The headlights are 4300k 55w HID's, which I switched to from 5000k's. The 4300k's are much nicer. That's good to heat that the 4300's are that much better. Makes for a simple ...

I'm not really a fan of lights that far up the kelvin scale, but for 30 dollars that's hard to beat. Ordered a set for my truck. Dunno if they'll go in the foglight holes or get used as bacreverse lights. That high of color temperature is fantastic in the snow, crap in the dry and non existent in t...

Is it a bearing or bushing? It must be a bearing since I'm sure you'd have broken the bushing apart by now.

Don't listen to grumpy his dementia is acting up again. Stick to Jeeps. Toyotas suck, they're unreliable, underpowered, expensive to fix and excruciatingly slow so stay away!
