Yes you do have to cut a hole in the existing enclosure, disabling the factory crap.

Backup lights... Installed these today. Replaces your stock setup. Taps into factory wiring. Stock lamps are .800 amps and the new ones are .830 amps. $200 a set (Not installed). PM me if interested. If you're looking for a winch, PM me an offer. I have a couple of these that are used. A customer wanted new winches and who am I to argue. They are in great shape and the only thing missing is the synthetic rope. (They were hashed, so I tossed them). Easily replaceable. New these winches are $1600....

You are correct. Run a cable from the existing router to the new location. At that point (in the shop) you will need a new wireless router. Then some simple configurations and you should be good to go.

Yeah.. Charter will ding you for that. You will need another cable modem + calling them to register the mac address (more money)...
