Re: Bare TJ Frame?
Thanks Jose. I really appreciate it. I haven't been able to find one yet, but I'll come up with something. I'm thinking about only modeling the center section of the frame if thats what it comes down to. It will get me by.

Bare TJ Frame?
Does any one have a bare TJ frame sitting around. I know its a long shot. I'd love to just buy one, but I'm not really in the position to do that right now. I do, however, need access to one to do a little 3D modeling. I'm designing and building suspension for my 5th year project of my Sheetmetal Ap...

Here are some pics. I actually love the lines of these tube fenders. I love the contour of the tube way more than on my new ones. They've been on my TJ for years. They're dirty and have some surface rust, but nothing bad. They'll clean up nice and with a good coat of paint they'll look totally kille...

FS: BTF TJ Tube Fenders
I've got a set of BTF tube fenders for sale. They've been on my TJ for years and have never been bashed. They should clean up great and with a fresh coat of paint they would look pretty awesome. You may also have to drill a few holes to mount some under hood stuff if your TJ is different from mine i...

Rimrock Prospecting?
Has any one seen people prospecting in the Rimrock area as of lately. I'm headed out that way and I was curious if any one has had any luck in the area or knows some one who has and what areas. I checked Mine Cache and there are 2 mines and one placer claim in the area. The two mines are closed and ...

Funny.... I thought I missed spring up on Morse Creek. We wanted to dredge but it was colder than hell, rained a lot, and the water was crazy (32 degrees). The first sunny semi warm day we jumped in the water at a brisk 34 degrees and swift as hell. lol We figured that was all the summer we would ge...

Prospecting.... soon dredging. Hopefully the gold only gets better. Is that near Liberty? Last summer at Liberty, there were a lot of prospectors in camp. You could hear motorized dredges running in the creek. One of the old miner dudes showed me some of the gold he found. Pretty cool. 8) Liberty m...

I have an AX10 but the only time I seem to bring it out is when I'm camping. You should come out some time when Mike and I go out. I'll shoot you a PM next time we go out. It'll be probably a week or two for me. My trans is locking up hardcore, but I should be rocking an enclosed dig R2 and back ou...

I have my old monster crawlers but I haven't so much as charged a battery in at least a couple years. Seriously considering building a scale rig rather than getting back into racing. You should build a scaler. Personally I think they're a blast and any one who complains about them not being half as...

Any body into RC Crawlers?
So is any one here running an RC Crawler? I've been running the piss out of mine since I haven't been able to get out and wheel in a long time. I've been looking for more people who have scalers to go out crawling with. Any one here have one and want to go out some time? Heres mine... Heavily modifi...

Liberty is great for gold panning. But, most of the good sights are claims. If you head up that way you might get some of the old duffers to point you in the right direction. I'll have to look into Liberty. What county is Liberty in. I can probably get a map of good spots and figure out what is cla...

I'm interested in panning around here too. Haven't looked too hard into it, but have a pan! I was figuring on bringing it on whatever wheeling trips we do this year. From the reading I did do, I got kind of lost in the rules around permits and mineral writes even for recreational panning. If you ge...

Panning
Yes I said it... Panning. The thing OG did back in the day before television, his fancy computer, and web wheeling. Do you guys know of any decent places out in either the Cascades or the Blues where you can camp and pan for gold. No I'm not out to get rich, but my Grandpa panned for gold in Califor...
