Its me again Margaret
Hello all, I've been to a couple of meetings before but my work schedule kept me from doing anything regular. That all changed today when I started a new position at work, working from home (Prosser) 7-3:30 M-F. I will have plenty of time to make it to meetings and maybe even work on my multiple pro...

Elbe Grant Letters of Support
If you enjoy recreating at Elbe Hills ORV please take the time to write a quick statement in support of the M&O and New Campground grants. Just a little support stating how you and your family enjoy the trails can go a long way towards getting funding. Pics of yourselves wheeling or volunteering...

SB5200 – volunteers Pooling Discover Pass hours
SB5200 would allow spouses to pool their volunteer hours for the purpose of earning a free Discover Pass. It is very similar to 2013 / 2014 Senate Bill SB5097 and 2015 / 2016 Senate Bill SB5205. We came very close to passing those two bills. There was close to zero opposition, it is just not an urge...

Re: Local Vendors. . .Raves and Rants
I give American transmission :thu2: my DD dodge was having a shaking issue but only as certain speeds, they took it for a test drive and came back "it is doing it, but I have no idea what it is. its definitely not what I thought it would be doing" so they put it up on a lift and ran it. dr...

Re: 1972 K5 "start them young"
first time taking the top off it did not go so well, i used a forklift with some rope and 2X4's spanning under it, sounds good right? the ropes slid and the top went tumbling off over the side of the truck, i figured it was shattered. will it did make several cracks in it but the glass was still goo...

Re: 1972 K5 "start them young"
one of the other reasons I bought the K5 is my son. he loves it and when he gets a little older we will rebuild it together and he will learn life long skills and have a nice truck for school that he built himself. the proud owner once I had it up and running http://i944.photobucket.com/albums/ad285...

I do not know who did the body work and paint but it was poorly done, and sitting in Wyoming weather it started to rust out in the usual places. http://i944.photobucket.com/albums/ad285/warrpath4x4/72K5/IMG-20140519-00820_zps6f733bc3.jpg http://i944.photobucket.com/albums/ad285/warrpath4x4/72K5/IMG-...

1972 K5 "start them young"
this is less of a build thread and more of a way to log memories. little back story, when I was a kid my grandpa had a 1972 C20 camper special and when he passed away my dad got it, we took that truck everywhere. it was his daily driver plus hunting, camping, getting firewood, going to the dunes. he...

Re: Insurance
we have progressive for auto and renters insurance but the house we are buying is not in a "covered area" for home owners insurance. so we are shopping around for a home owners policy and may or may not move our vehicle policy also.

thanks,
ya it is a lot of moving but it was good financially for my career. I left making $22K a year and came back making over $70K a year and have an actual career and not just a job.

returned to the PNW
So 4 1/2 years ago the family and I moved to Rock springs Wyoming to work for Cummins Rocky Mountain, spent 3 1/2 years there. Then we moved to Elko Nevada for a promotion with the same company. Then In July I transferred to Cummins Northwest in Yakima to be closer to family. So here I am, currently...
