Re: Motorhome tire removal help
I called Super Springs yesterday (maker of Sumo Springs). He told me he knows of the problem with Tiffins installation and asked if mine had turned from yellow to brown. He said the mount is probably bent and weakened. He said to add a 3rd bolt to each side. He told me to fill out the warranty form ...

Motorhome tire removal help
Long shot. Does anyone have the tools to remove 22.5" Motorhome tires? 33mm deep well socket, giant torque wrench to 450 ft lbs, and a suitable jack? I need to repair the rear Sumo Spring mounts on both sides. Easy task, except the rear duals are in the way.

Re: JLUR. 2.0 Turbo vs 3.6
Toby, I have no idea if a brake buddy would work, but it probably will. The RVI3 brake has a tablet that monitors the brake and you can manually activate it for big downhills. The unit itself is way smaller than the brake buddy and is air operated for instant braking. It worked great on the JK and t...

Pick up a Mountain 2023 9/15-9/17
Sept 15-17 2023. Even though I haven't seen anything official on the PNW site, Dave Mc messaged me and it's business as usual. There will be flyers in the Jamboree packets.

Re: JLUR. 2.0 Turbo vs 3.6
JLUR tow test weekend. The motorhome is a little happier pulling hills. The fancy Stay-in-Play supplemental brake system that came installed on the Jeep works awesome. Hook and go. No more box in front of the brake pedal. But now I have a complete RVI3 brake system sitting in the garage. 20230...

Re: Is there any interest in GMRS?
I let the CB go with the Gladiator. This is the last year of CBs at trail Jamboree. I guess I'm forced to change. I'm going to need help.

Re: JLUR. 2.0 Turbo vs 3.6
Congratulations! Let's get it dirty  If it doesn't have one, and you're interested, I've got an OEM steel lower skid plate that mounts below the front bumper. I believe most of the earlier model years equipped with plastic bumpers also came with plastic lower air dams, but later in the run...

Re: JLUR. 2.0 Turbo vs 3.6
Change is here. Traveled to Enumscratch to look at one with the 3.6 auto, very low miles, flat tow equipped, decent lift, and oversize tire carrier. It came home with me wearing the Gladiator's wheels and 37s.

The soft top has an integrated header bar with latches attached to it. I have a bikini/safari top header bar that will work for you. One less thing to buy!

I'll have to dig around in the garage. I think I still have a TJ bikini top and header bar I acquired. I always used the Safari top.

Re: JLUR. 2.0 Turbo vs 3.6
Thank you for your reply Toby. I was hoping you'd chime in! I would rather stick with the V6, if I find something that peaks my interest. I'm just seeing alot of Turbos for sale. That should tell me something right there!

Re: TJ half door and Corbeau seats
Dave - I'm very interested in those seats... I'm out of pocket this weekend but if they are still available next week or weekend I'd love to take a look and see if they will work out for what I have planned for them. They said they would hold on to them, and not put them out at their garage sale th...

Back when I used to scour the TJ build forums, I thought I read about using an older Chevy truck fill hose. Can't remember the year or model.
