http://www.justih.org/photopost/data/684/medium/IMG_20140526_121215.jpg Shoe horn anyone? Being overweight was finally a good thing since it took Scumby and I sitting on the bumper to get this out without taking the roof off the trailer. I still don't know how he got in and out of it.... Great day ...

Lud do you know the name of the formula you used off hand? Mattawa your logic is sound. I hadn't considered combining the two triangles and solving for the one area. If you could reduce it down to a solvable equation I think you'd have it. You'll have to draw on your rules for exponents and factorin...

I wanna know how you got the AW4 to work, been thinking about that as a possible for my 4runner to lose the integrated Tcase POS I have now. I get that it bolts up but sure there's some computer issues that'd have to be addressed.

Really nice rig... like the pic of it when it was bright pink

You'd have to factor out x to get to an equation that looked like ax^2+bx+c=0. Then use the quadratic equation solver. Sorry to say but without the bearing of the top or bottom line I think this is an impossible solve. You cannot assume the top and bottom lines are parallel (note the 3 feet differen...

I too have a Scout in various piles of parts. I also have a 4runner that the only good thing on is the jeep traction assist device (aka tow hitch) :P

Mine has the controler that sets the time delay and braking pressure. It works fine when I take the time to adjust it, but it has to be adjusted every time I change the weight on the trailer.

Trailer hands down. With a dolly you still have to store it and its useless for anything but towing cars. I bought my trailer thinking I would only use if for my Scout or 4runner since I have the pick-up but I find I use it a ton (my friends use it a ton too :? ) Also if you have minions you can als...

That's awesome new. Glamis is a blast. I remember they kept closing off more and more each year we went.

If you like playing in the sand at Juniper this is well worth a trip at least once.

I just grab sand from the sand dunes by road 100. I run it through a screen (literally a small window screen from home depot). Only catch is it has to have been dry for a few days and I only get about the top 3 inches to avoid the moist stuff. Also gotta have dry air. I run 3 filters to keep the sup...

Wanted - 1stgen 4runner/2ndgen pickup passenger front fender

Need a new passenger front fender for my 4runner. Mine had an encounter with a tree

When my dad rolled his 93 Toyota pickup we just beat the roof flat again with a sledge hammer and used black max glue to hold in the new windshield. Put some around the frame to hold the glass in then fill the gaps around it with more glue and strike off with a putty knife. Didn't look great but 5 y...

I took the kids sledding on the dunes by Road 100, the sand was really firmed up good. Juniper woulda been a blast like that.

We didn't get much snow where I grew up. I remember hooking a boogie board behind my 3 wheeler and "sand boarding" up and down a nearby dry wash.

Yep was fun. We'll have to hit Hover one day soon.

Lotta work you put into your rig already, really a good looking truck. Can see what you ment about the seats it came with being out of place, the low backs you got look alot better for that era truck.

There is nothing cheap about building a bronco lol That's why you build a Scout.. same look, half the price. Problem is actually finishing one... I was thinking about heading out to Juniper tomorrow (sunday) too with my son, maybe I'll see you out there. I drive a red 1st generation 4runner (since ...

WANTED - Drivers Front turn signal assembly- 1st gen 4runner

Need the drivers front turn signal assembly (really just the lens) for my 1988 4runner. Pretty sure the trucks of this era use the same.

PM me if you have one you'd part with.

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

It's not just welded to the front of the trailer frame though, those are solid beams that run the whole length of the trailer. It's rather overbuilt. That's actully the best way to build a trailer hitch. My 7k rate flat bed has the same style set up. Welds can fatique over time and fail when under ...

Are they each home run back to the switch (shouldn't be) or are they in series with one wire going back? What about finding something that you like the look of (wood, metal, another mirror) and cutting it to fit over the spot where the lights where and then using the center hole to mount a new 4&quo...
