I've built a few (for myself and for others) and the only reason I'd even consider doing it again is if I couldn't buy what I wa...

Grumpy is correct. Right of way and design first. Should start next year on that. We (Franklin County) meet with FHWA towards the end of this year to iron out the details and final schedule. Construction will occur in 2016 if congress continues funding this program. The transportation program is MAP...

How thick of metal? I have some 16 or 18 ga sheet metal around from my Scout project. Have a box & pan brake in the shop too. Could probably make up something.

This article was a bit premature. There will be more information presented to the Commissioners on the status of the grant at the Board meeting on August 14.

Good luck with those forms Grumpy... I have to stay away from them, lest I get myself in trouble.

W.E. Rock West Round 3 - Goldendale

Anyone planning to go to this event this weekend? http://www.werocklive.com/events/w-e-rock-west-round-3/

I am planning to take my 4 year old son and go check it out on Saturday. Got room in the truck if someone wanted to tag along. Send me a PM and we can talk.

I did make the door panel. Its 20ga sheet metal using the formed peice from the stock panel on top. Plan on doing all the interior panels this way. Should clean the truck up nice and they'll take alot more abuse then the paper board stuff it came with. The 3.slow is what it is. I am going back and f...

To be fair the cornbinder is that in body only. The axels are from a 3/4ton Jeep J Truck, the transmission is from GM, the T case is an NP241 (Chevy version) and the engine is a 4cy isuzu diesel. I love the look of the old scouts but I am not a diehard binder guy by any means. The 4runner is a 1988 ...

Not sure if you all saw the article in the Herald last week but the project we (Franklin County) submitted was selected for programming. What this means in a nut shell is we are on the list. Right now the program lasts for 4 years but there is only guaranteed funding for the first 2 years; projects ...
