Anybody know where to get the outer snap-ring for a Dana 60.
Not the small one on the shaft but the larger one that fits inside the hub groove.
Thank you.

Well new surprise today. Bought the Jeep with a SB chevy (350?) and an unknown 4sp. Seeing that It's a SB I was assumed it was a 420 or 465, well it's a NP435. After a little research the 435 did come in Chevy for about 4yrs (68-72). Does anyone know how to tell the difference between a Ford and Che...

After thinking I had success yesterday, I put the hood down, wrong thing to do it was off by about 1.5 inches. I didn't think my measurements were that bad and they weren't. I've decided something isn't straight, imagine that on a Jeep, and that is the way it's going to be. http://mysite.verizon.net...

This has potetial also never been a huge yota fan but the seem to wheel pretty good. http://kpr.craigslist.org/car/747602780.html Is that the one Ed Livzey (sp?) built? If it is, it is worth every penny. Yup, that is his old truck. Unless someone changed them, they are tru-tracks (gear driven limit...

chevy engine/trans/d300/waggy front/hardtop
Stolen from another thread but: ...This plus a waggy front with Ford bearing hubs would be sweet in a CJ/YJ/TJ/ etc.J with 35s. UPDATED 2-23-09 Thought this was the hot ticket too but changed my mind and happen to have this setup sitting around: '75 Waggy front D44, pass side drop, complete hub to h...

Red: under door bars and some rear gussets are going to be put in These I'm trying to come up with one or a combination: cyan: This was my orginal idea, gives side to side support Purple: Gives side to side but I don't think as much as the cyan, also gives a place for a frame mount and harnesses EDI...

OK, it's been a while since I updated the progress, mainly because it's not getting done by itself. BUT this has been corrected in the last couple of days. If I'm lucky I'll actually get some money out of the suburban and spend most of the weekend finishing the cage. I'm a big believer in the Bend-t...

72-75 CJ windshield frame, maybe earlier.
Must have the windshield wiper motor mounted on driver side, outside bottom.

We didn't hardly see anyone and were breaking trail all weekend long, this makes for a nice weekend. Drove up Saturday morning to Marcella's and only found about 1/2 the amount of people camped there. After trying to figure out what to do, we headed up the Mud Springs trail, back side of Clover Spri...

Re: "65 CJ-5A Tuxedo Park Mark IV
Been a while since anything has happened. GF has a kid that won't do his home work, so I've been spending LOT O TIME trying to get him caught up and this has been very bad on shop time. Some of the last shots show the bumper and rear mounts welded up. Well ran into a little problem, the center line ...
