I will have to research this. I have heard $1500 for an unmodified JK axle, but after the narrowing and the relocated TJ brackets, you are right back up there in the Currie and Dynotrac price range. $1500 bones for a bolt in ready w/locker sounds pretty darn good.

I like it. Too bad you had to wash the part that the stickers are on. The clean part takes away from the overall coolness of the new rubiwaggon. 8)

WT, No DVD burner on this old PC. :( Dave, we use Outlook Express for our e-mail. Do I need to call Charter to have it "reconfigured"? (i'm somewhat 'puter-handicapped!) Peanut, sounds like the jump drive may work. Thank-you guys.

A question for the computer savvy.

Well, Barb bought a new 'puter for my daughter to give me for Christmas :D . We use Charter internet and e-mail. My question is what will I need to do to make the transition? Do I just plug it in to the modem and go with it? Also, how do I transfer stuff from this old POS to the new one? (currently ...

The best deal I found for one that is beefier than the stock trackbar is the one I got from Rusty's offroad. Has a larger bend to it for lifted Heeps....Never seen a JKS up close, but they are more spendy than my Rusty's. So far it's worked great at Naches and sitting at the bottom of Webber Canyon ...

So they finished the race, not a DNF right? Finishing is good, Yes? Either way, very impressive even being there to race. When Tim helped me with my TJ on monday, El Chivo had nothing under it to make it go!! Nice job getting it all together. :thu:

TJ homemade stubby bumper------Free

Had to buy a new bumper to mount my flat winch plate so I no longer need it. It is made out of a 1/4" piece of angle iron with tapered ends and welded on tabs for the bottom frame mount. It is only wider than the frame enough to hold some aux. lights on the ends. I know it is not much (that is ...

Thanx Lee, 1/2" won't do it. I have a 1/2" bit (it's the biggest one that will fit in my drill!). I already drilled the 1/2" holes, but they need to be bigger so the bolt heads under the winch plate will drop into them and the plate will fit flat on top of the bumper (only the two fro...

Lud, or any TJ/YJ guys, Did you have any issues with the front winch mounting bolts and your bumper?? My Smitty winch and Roughcountry plate arrived and I could not mount it because my homemade stubby bumper was tweaked and the flat plate would not mount over the bumper right. So I ordered a Smitty ...

Beautiful area. We make at least one trip a year over tollgate to camp and fish Lake Wallowa. Never wheeled over there though. Nice "wild thing" chain saw! My wife bought me one of those years ago and it just keeps on going. 8)

Nice pics, wish I could of made it :( I passed most of you guys on my way west to return my daughter to the  . Looks like it was fun from the amounts of mud on the rigs being towed. Lee, I did not notice your new fog light upgrade when you went by----- it was getting pretty dark by then. :)
