2010 Vehicle Tabs - HEADS UP
Just a quick heads on 2010 vehicle tabs... In reviewing my first one for the year (I have like 11 more coming  ), I noticed that WA state kindly included a $5 donation to the State Parks on my behalf... You can deduct this $5 if you don't want to donate, but it's an extra step on your part. Sn...

Re: 4.0 jeep parts and willys parts
t-19/18 3speed The T-18 is a 4-speed that was offered in CJ's through the 70's, and the T-19 is also a 4-speed but it offers the magical 1st gear synchros and was only offered in Ford and IH rigs... My guess is that you actually have either a T-14 or a T-86 if it's married to a true Dana 20 (center...

It will drop right in, but you'll need that new rear driveshaft. I happen to have one somewhere, but with your lift you'll want a CV anyways so it won't be of much use to you either. I believe there may be a slight difference in the electrical connector for the 4wd indicator in the dash, but certain...

My XJ Years
Before I had anything to do with the Peak Putters, I did a lot of wheelin with an XJ. I still miss the little bugger... http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii196/tobyw2000/XJ%20Wheelin/A4F03_2.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii196/tobyw2000/XJ%20Wheelin/A4F03_27.jpg http://i264.photobucket.com...

Some Pics I Found...
I found my old external hard drive yesterday, and spent quite a while browsing through all of my old pics… Here are some of my favs from years past – and yep, they are all scanned images, as these were long before I owned a digital camera  http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii196/tobyw2000/...

IMO, a winch, much like tires and brakes, is not the place to pinch pennies... Saving a few bucks and getting a 2-year replacement don't do you much good when you are a 5 mile hike from the nearest gravel road. A winch is one of those things you want to work EVERY time you need it, and not just hope...

Ummm, wow... Do you have any droop travel up front? Might want to address those control arm angles and then comment on the improvement? Go for a ride in it some time and see for yourself. :D I've had a built XJ, and so has ersll... No doubt they ride great and put up with quite a bit. That said, tr...

I just finished putting the floorpans in it, and got a little carried away getting it prepped for interior paint  I have a little wiring to clean up/repair (the previous owner was an even bigger electrical hack than me, and I didn't know that was even remotely possible  ), and then I'll ...

Customer Service LIVES
Just a quick story to let folks know that some companies still do believe in customer service... A couple weeks back, I ordered a set of front dual shock hoops for my Bronco from Jeff's Bronco Graveyard. Knowing that the '76/77 have a sloping inner fenderwell on the driver side to accomodate the fac...

WTB: 33" MT's
Looking for some 33x12.5-15's for the Bronco... Not interested in Swampers of any sort, and don't want AT's either. Looking for something of the basic MT variety (BFG, Schwab, Cooper, Mickey, Pro Comp, etc).

Re: DNR Update
Yakima Ski Benders for raising $25,000 to make sure five snow parks stay open this winter  These guys can generate $25k for a single season of funding and we (meaning the NW off-road community, not PP in particular) don't even have a single fund raiser that I'm aware of? No wonder we are los...
