So, for my end of the story! Apparently Murphy decided he needed a trip to the Rubicon about the time I was supposed to leave to pick up my dad in Eugene on Wednesday afternoon. Just before pulling the Jeep on the trailer I decided to make one last lap around the jeep to check torque on the lugs and...

Being overweight was finally a good thing since it took Scumby and I sitting on the bumper to get this out without taking the roof off the trailer. I still don't know how he got in and out of it.... Great day ...

I've got to put a word in for Peter and Charlie with Armor Performance Coatings in Richland. They do powder coating and high heat coatings. From what the owners say the wife is still living there and hubby comes home from idaho on weekends, my inlaws stopped out last weekend and the attack punt dogs were in the property as well. Mines a 2005 manufactured and most people wouldn't know it. I built houses for a living, and I have no issues with owning a manufactured.

Price seems a little high for a house that's been abandoned for 1.5 years. But, I love the living out here.

Ya, I have the 2G on right now. To be honest, I've had it on for a few years and never noticed it being as fat as it was the couple times in camp last weekend. I've had it running in the shop and not gassed myself out. So, I don't think it's indicative of how that carb normally runs.

I've had the stock BBD, a Motorcraft 2100, a Weber and a Rochester 2G on the jeep. I like the 2G the best. When it runs good, it runs great. It'll get upset if you bounce it on a steep hill climb, and the needle valve will stick if it sits for a while. I can't honestly discredit the Weber, because I...

Peak Putters - Freeze Your Buns Run 2013

Not many frosty buns, but a great weekend none the less! For the sake of taming the hordes before there is a riot, here are my crummy cell phone pics. There are lots more pics, and video's floating around. http://www.peakputters.com/forum/userpix/8_IMG_20131130_095415_1.jpg http://www.peakputters.co...

I'm really happy with my General Grabber AT2's. I'm running 33x12.50x18's load range E. They are way more stable with the camper on the truck than any other tire I've run. http://www.peakputters.com/forum/userpix/8_Tires1_1.jpg http://www.peakputters.com/forum/userpix/8_Tires2_1.jpg

Beadlock Opinions

As usual I'm over thinking my next upgrade. So the options that fall into my budget are: - Stauns - InnerAirLocks - Weld on Beadlocks - Eaton Beadlocks I like the Stauns/ InnerAirlocks because I get both beads locked and can keep my wheels current wheels. I've heard they are a pain to install, and w...

Wanted: 15" Beadlocks

Time the bite the bullet and do it. Would rather buy them assembled as opposed to doing weld on's. 15x8 or 15x10 6lug should work.
