after not doing anything with this truck for years other than tearing the axles out for a k5 build I finally touched this thing. more tear down I'm working a deal on a set of axles for it and prepping it for a back half cut.

If a Scout flew these days it would break in half due to rust

Thread a bolt into it. It can push it out or give you something to grab onto

I like to use grease and pieces of paper towel (generally scotts shop towels) I use a bolt with electrical tape to make a tight fit. There is a lisle tool that reads into the bearing/bushing that you use a grease gun on that then pushes it out

please post the serial number and a picture of faceplate.
