Re: Seeking Input for Cheap Commuter Rig

A Jeep Cj5; CJ-7, Flatty or an old school Bronco. It'll cost much >2K and not much for creature comforts but the cool factor will far out way the negatives making it a no brainer. Just my cool honest opinion.

Loved that loop of the trail. Just getting down there and then the view from the bottom while waiting for your turn was as good as climbing it. Envious!!!

Re: Sell or Keep my Jeep?

A stock TJ on 32 in tires will get you through all the trails with some occasional help. The most important thing is just getting to the trail because that's where the fun is. The TJ and driver will do the rest. It doesn't need to be built to hang with us. Use the leftover money from your sale on a ...

I have snap ring pliers you are welcome to use. If you're planning on a CV rear driveshaft just aim the rear pinion at the t-case pinion.

Re: Skyline loop, Blue Mtns.

That's correct we were there on Sunday. We never saw another vehicle on the trail. No snowmobile, ATV or wheeler. I think it is very popular with the night crowd, firm snow.

The idea was to run the loop, Skyline to Godman, behind Bluewood and then down the North Fork of the Touchet back to Dayton. We left th...

Hopefully it will still be open 4th of July weekend. Dale Newman from the PNW4DA would know more. He has a work party for the trails around Liberty every year prior to Memorial Day.

Re: WA State OHV Map Catalog

Without a dought it will close some of our trails. I'd have to cross reference my Liberty wheeling map but I recognize 9705000 as they have listed, is a great trail for the views and very challenging.
