No, they tie into the the dash/ door frame. Ive read and seen pictures of all the pro's and con's of this style of kit. I have a few reinforcements planned, but I feel that for what I'll be doing it will be plenty safe. Plus its nice to not lose any floor space.

Came from Spokane. Ran to Ritzville tonight to get it.

So ... I've finally resolved the issue I've been talking about for YEARS. Picked up a sport cage tonight. It's an OR Fab kit, all welded up and ready to go. Think I'm going to make a few additions (A pillar legs, dash bar, CB mount, ect) and get it in this weekend! This has been way too long coming!

Wow! My build thread started in April of '07 too. Crazy how time flies! Let me know when you are working on the turkey, I could use some time rolling around in your driveway.

Chances are low for sparks, but if I'm going to "host" a run, I need to be legal .... I should be legal anyway. Just hadn't thought about it.

Looks like I'm SOL boys .... Jeep has glasspacks :oops: :( Not sure exactly what I'm going to do. No room for standard offset muffs without building a new system. Don't want to build a new system before potential drivetrain mods happen ..... I'll figure something out, but not before this weekend.

If there's enough interest I'd be happy to call a Part 2 run ... if people are going to show up.[/b]
