Probably I'd have to go look at it, Doesn't matter if the airbox is on or off. still starts hard, If it's cold out it wont start at all Sounds like maybe your propane regulator (at the tanks) is out of adjustment and pressure is low. Is it hard to get it started in the first place, or is it dying s...

MicroQuiet 4000, or something like that?

I can take a look at it. Some of those Onan's have real weird airbox issues.

I cant remember exactly, but I think your battery tray has enough room for two 6v. If it does, it's a real tight fit, and you will have a heck of a time servicing the battery water. If they DO fit, spend the extra money and get one of those 6v battery servicing kits that allows you to service both o...

Yeah, I got a tip: dont skimp when buying batteries! Once you get a good set, keep them charged. The battery is the heart and soul of the RV, so I wouldnt recommend taking a chance on durability. I have heard good things about the ones from Costco, but dont have any personal esperience. We have been...

Dave,
is that yours?

The House battery is not taking much of a charge. I believe it's near death.

Thieves should be drug through the street and shot... :fouet When I was in Japan, Harley's were a hot item and stolen frequently. Most of them headed for Korea, or so I was told. On of my fellow english-speaking motorcycle friends over there had his Harley stolen one night. He had it blocked inside ...

Makes you wonder if there is a 4x4 chop shop in the area.

If there is, most likely the parts are no longer within a thousand miles of here.

I will just throw this out there:

I have an SM465 mated to a NP205 sitting in my garage, along with a '78 Chevy heavy duty radiator and lots of miscellaneous 350 engine parts that need to go.

I have a few Chevy 350 parts I would like to get rid of, if you need them. Heads, Edelbrock dress-up stuff, etc.

Where and when?

The biggest hindrance to me wheeling on the weekend is that I work Saturdays. Sundays afternoons are open, and Mondays are wide open.

Update: She seems to be running very good. After switching to the stock cam I was having alot of spark-knock, even when retarding the ignition timing. I switched to NGK BKR7E plugs that made a noticeable reduction in spark-knock, and eliminated it almost completely after switching to Premium pump gas.

What problems are you having with your carb? It meters fuel better coming out the side and dripping on the exhaust/engine than it does fuel going into the engine? :P J/K I have the single-barrel stock carb from my 2.5 you can have if it'll fit. I believe it is the same carb used on the 6-cylinder e...

Hey Zach, I just bought one of those Rugged Ridge 8500 winches. Seems like a good winch, though I havent had a chance to use it yet. It definitely makes the front of my Jeep dive more in the sand!! I know a guy who may want to part with a used winch (he has a few lying around). I'll ask him about it...

I may be able to help.

I have a nice Hobart Handler 135 MIG. Claimed to weld up to 3/16" in a single pass. If you need bigger stuff welded, it would be better with a MIG in the 200-250 amp range.
