I have some LJ soft top windows. Zippers are shot, but yours for the asking if you wanna see if they will work for you. Heck, you can have the whole factory top minus the frame if you want. Lee Don't think I'd have a use for the whole top, but the windows would be great. If I'm driving with the can...

Like said elsewhere, talk to Final Touch in Kennewick. Could look more like a soft top than a tent if they can do it... Thought about a soft top style, but I don't know that it would go that well with the thriftside lines. Looks good on a commanche, or a J-Truck with a townside bed: http://www.soft...

Got a set of M35 Cargo bow corners off of ebay super cheap. http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g295/localfiend/J200%203-4%20Ton%20Gladiator/20150127_212334_zpsd2rsveef.jpg Turns out the standard military bow size is a match for the thriftside stake pockets. So I'll be making a canopy, or having a ten...

I know alot of people run the DDM, but reading the reviews about the frequent ballast failures kinda concerns me. I would like to have quality and longevity, I will definately put a relay in, no matter what bulb/kit I do. I just want a good white light. Not blue/yellow but white. I will stay under ...

Is that DDM kit a plug and play type of deal, or do you have to cut and splice? Drew, I had the fatboys in my amazon cart the other day. Haha, funny thing, quadrapuke is cheaper even with my prime acct. No splicing, the wiring harness hooks to the battery and then plugs into one of your factory lig...

Fixed the link. Didn't mean to link to DDM twice. They don't qualify for the high quality label, though they do work well for the price. :D

Whatever you do make sure they're aimed properly. Vehicle height plays a large part in this. http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html Standard legal H4 bulb: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000CO7NGI/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1422331935&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SY200_QL40&dpPl=1&dpID=411XSij...

I'm not really a fan of lights that far up the kelvin scale, but for 30 dollars that's hard to beat. Ordered a set for my truck. Dunno if they'll go in the foglight holes or get used as bacreverse lights. That high of color temperature is fantastic in the snow, crap in the dry and non existent in t...

Re: ARBs parts prices

I can't seem to open anything that will list prices on parts for my ARB. I have a 99 TJ rear D44 and 4:88s You might do well to call ARB. There were a couple different generations and if you have an older one the parts diagrams are different. Ran into that problem. They're quite good over the phone.

So.... The Dana 20 that was in the truck won't shift without a very large hammer. I thought it was simply the crummy linkage when it was still drivable. Fortunately I have a spare case that works well, and this one will work better with dual shifters, no modifications needed for all positions. I fig...

It's a TJ manual transmission thing I think. There were quite a few changes to the TJ era 4.0's.

Does it have to be white bread? Forgot to pick some up om the way home, tried non white bread and it did not work. Put a few cuts in it with a dremel in hopes it would relieve some pressure but no help. Broke my snap on puller trying to get it out. To big ID to tap it, 1.4ish inches. Lurch, what ki...

I'm not sure the white bread would work, again that little 1/8" crack is the only separation of the two and the ID of both are the same so the bread would only be able to occupy that little crevice. And I don't have a punch of the proper size. That little crack is the only bit you need. The fo...

Try a piece of white bread. Works better than grease when you dont have as much of a lip. Get a punch the same size as the hole, shove in a piece of crustless bread and hit it with a big hammer. Real fast and easy to clean up.
