Re: Washington backcountry discovery route.

Curious for those that have done this, how would a stock truck with bed camper do? I know there isn't any serious offroading but just curious if it would be enjoyable still.

4w620 Rattlesnake

Curious on info for 4w620, it is listed as most difficult on NWjeepin but with no description. Can't find much other information online, curious as it looks like a great area to try both my summer hobbies on the same trip!

I have 2 toyo a/t 35s on JK rubicon rims, also 5x5 trailers hubs and spacers. Whole trailer axle if you’re interested. But I am assuming you are 5x4.5 like I am switching too?

Re: 99 XJ Limited

Got some stuff done! Re did the sad droopy headliner and some other little stuff. Pretty proud of how it turned out, but was more work than expected! Before pictures of the sad headliner, which dropped foam on my head all the time! https://i.imgur.com/5o01PKp.jpg https://i.imgur.com/beBiwxC.jpg http...

Re: 99 XJ Limited

So I am on a trip right now for work, and will be home Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday and Thursday, on my list to get done is pin point/fix the cruise control problem, get the tires balanced, and change change some fluids. Anyone dealt with cruise before? The light comes on but won’t set, from what I ...

Re: 99 XJ Limited

Yah I’m not a fan of the hitch tire carrier, he had the spare on the roof rack, and I actually had it shipped here from California, he had that and put it on cause it was too tall to ship with the spare on the roof!

99 XJ Limited

Picked up a 1999 XJ, 160k on the clock, PW, PL, and leather heated seats! I have big plans for this Jeep, got rid of my JK for this to be loan free, enjoying it so far. Plans are to have a reliable daily driver for a year or so, then on to trail duty and the build could go a little more crazy at tha...

Re: Off Road Trailer Axle Setup

Spacers for the trailer hubs have to be custom made, and cost over $200. I plan to just run steel wheels on the trailer next and won’t need spacers, they will fit over the trailer hubs. I could probably build a complete new setup for less than the custom spacers.

For axles I just bought spindles and square tubing, that way I could custom cut it to my exact size I wanted. And it was cheap. Can get round too, square was just really simple to set up the springs on

Re: OffRoad trailer builds???

The goal of mine was to be able to be multifunctional. Rack with RTT can be removed. Not having to carry a trailer spare is nice if you match wheels and tire to the vehicle, and bonus it looks good! Was worrried the springs were gonna be too stiff but it rides really nice when loaded up, it has 1050...

Re: XJ vs ZJ vs WJ?

That’s a good point, I am gonna be upgrading axles or at least building them if what I buy is stock, so adding upgraded brakes is a something that will be done. I haven’t weighed my trailer yet but the JK handled it okay, other than needing a re gear. The 35s and bumpers were too much for it when pu...
