I've ran several different weld on setups and been pleased with 3 out of 4 of them. The one was crap but hey, they were cheap the cheapest! Stauns are nice enough but I know a guy that had issues with them. Supposedly inner air locks are a step better than stauns and cheaper. If you do go with...

Yup, got a text from motornoggin last week about picking that up for him. Went and looked at it and declined the purchase since it's offset diff, 2 piece axles etc. It would have been a good deal for the $75 he was asking then if it was what he says it is.

Last big yellow jacket nest I got rid of took a small bottle of dawn, a garden hose and a weed burner. I dumped the dawn down the hole, shoved the hose in on full for a few minutes then heated the ground for a good while so they were all trying to abandon the hive they were forced through the dawn w...

Make it $350 and I'll go get it next saturday. I work on a farm so we don't get memorial day off, shocking I know. That's one expensive treadmill, I'm going to assume it's out of a closed or remodeled gym? The cheapest new I found in a quick search was almost $3000. And used was still over $20...

Thats 450m one way, I'll pass. lol  Werd. Even in my Toyota praying for a 25 mpg average (which it surely won't get coming home loaded) and averaging gas prices at $3.75 that puts just under $139 in my gas tank leaving the rest as profit. Unfortunately I value my time higher than the $7.92 an ...

I'd move the shackle mount up in the frame if you find that you need a longer shackle. You want the leaf spring mounted as close to level as possible to avoid axle wrap.

Centering pins are easy, I've always drilled the spring pad hole to 5/8 and used 3/8 bolts. I figure the centering pin isn't under stress if the u bolts are doing their job.

Yea enough to warrant the purchase. It's not that we go through so many hoses but it's that they never break at the end of the day when central was still open. :?

I agree that's why I was planning to tie the support on the back of the 300 into the trans mount. Let the single mount do the work but the support would take the stress off the crawl box.

I built a mount that bolted to the stock location on the AW4 and a Rourke type mount for the tailhousing of the 300. I know I still have the tailhousing mount, you are welcome to it. The trans mount was a simply plate that bolted to the trans with a piece of tubing and yj spring bushings in it.

You adding AC or something? It already has ac although it was equipped with one of the biggest piece of crap compressors known to man. Serpentine belts stay put at higher rpm while V belts like to jump off any time you go above 5k rpm unless you have deep groove pulleys and a bit of luck.

There are holes in line with the frame rails in the front bumpers in the top pic that only the GPW's had. The lower pic is too small to zoom in far enough to see so I guess I should have clarified that one.

Odds are those wheels are 8 x 170mm newer seuperduty pattern since that rear end is from a newer truck and it's got spacers which would be required to clear the frame with those tires and low backspaced wheels. If they'd have used older superduty wheels they wouldn't have needed spacers since they s...
