I was there as well... that was back when Toby had the red Cherokee.. http://www.peakputters.com/runs/webber05/index.html Holy crap it was on THAT run. Go figure I'd flop like a 'tard in front of a crowd. Now this I could wheel with, just don't like --uggies of any sort or the trouble they re...

Wasn't that flop in weber canyon? I was there for that... I'll look for a picture... Good times! Yes it was. That was the first trip on the completed drivetrain. Not long after that I sold the 37's, bought the 38's and put them on beadlocks. I ended up breaking the sector shaft on the Scout s...

My favorite version. 8) Wasn't the flamingo a bolt on? I really liked that truck. No bolts or screws needed! I bent the 1/8" wire legs around a welded tab on the winch mount. Ghettofabtabulous indeed! But it was MY ghettofab. This was my favorite version by far. DD on 38's was grea...

So let me understand you correctly, nothing on your rig was bolted on to say reduce damage infliction or increase your rigs ability to go farther? I call BS, and just because I add this or that (bolt on of course) doesn't automatically make me any less of a wheeler. If you paid any attention at all...

Not if it's still a truggy/buggy etc, I won't wheel with them - they give the rest of us a bad rap, with their overuse of power (skinny pedal), due to lack of skill (brains). It appears their idea of stuck simply means more power, which in turn trashes more trail, etc. etc... Just sayin' I hope you...

I wheeled my lowered 2x Toyota weekend before last to get to a good spot to wheel my RC crawlers. If it wasn't for the welded rear diff the 195/60's wouldn't have gotten me there. I used to wheel pretty much every weekend. I'd head to TSF, Naches, Rimrock, Goldendale, Bickelton or any of the l...

That's interesting as I have always been a believer in "practice makes perfect"...but, the suggestion actually came from a club member and not the Internet or Quadratec... I would be really happy to not spend any money on plates, but I also don't want to be learning the "hard way&quo...

Just my (free) opinion, take it for what you paid for it... I wouldn't' spend a dime on aftermarket JK skid plates other than the evap canister. Instead, spend the money on fuel and learn how to drive your JK to avoid the need for them. That's right kids, I know it's against everything Quadratec an...

http://kpr.craigslist.org/pts/4431819469.html $500 crawler box for jeep and S10? i'm a little confused. The 241 will be 23 spline input and the 231 input spline can be changed easily using factory parts to make it whatever spline you need. The 6 planetary gearset is an upgrade from either a zr2, 23...
