Re: Going digital in the Warrior

I'm sure for you they're pretty easy by now. Didn't get any instructions but you can google anything nowadays. Took me about two hours and most of that was overthinking it. I know a lot of people get the house thermostats for $25 bucks and put AAs in them but I like having the thermostat off the 12 ...

Going digital in the Warrior

Switched the analog thermostat over to a digital one. Duotherm/Dometic sells a nice kit to do this. It comes with the thermostat and the digital control box that gets installed in the AC unit. Uses a lot less wires than the old unit. Very accurate. No AA batteries required. If you have this... IMG_1...

Re: Fitting for RV propane line

I have a Coleman Roadtrip grill and there's a way to strip the regulator for use on the low pressure line. Thanks Wrench, I'm gonna try tapping off that T on the low pressure line.

Fitting for RV propane line

Found this T with a plug on my RVs propane line while at Mardon last weekend. I'd like to tap into it and create a quick connect for a propane grill. Basically I'm tired of using the green bottles and would like to use the trailer's propane. Any ideas where I can get something for this? IMG_1100.JPG

Re: Shocks

The front end of a Cherokee is the same as a TJ including the steering. Here's a list: Check the track bar and bushings as Tim mentioned. Nuts should be torqued to 90 ft lbs I believe. Check the control arms up front upper and lower, especially the bushings. This is what did it on mine. The bushings...

There's about 10 floor tie downs in it. I just use on strap at school corner and cross the back ones. I used wheel chocks as well when I started but not any more.

The bulk of the weight is right over the triple axles which is perfect.

2007 Weekend Warrior 3505. 35 feet head to tail measured out. 17 foot x 8.5 foot garage unobstructed to the kitchen. 5,500 lb tie downs in the floor. Pretty sure an LJ would fit. Not sure of the height inside but I can jump up and not touch the ceiling. 5,000 lb ramp. 6000 lb cargo capacity. No slid...

JB Conversions Super Short SYE, Novak cable shifter, Rock Hard Belly Up Skid, Adams CV driveshaft. Not much more I really want to do to this rig except drive it. Had the guys at Black Diamond 4x4 help me out on this set of mods. Having the parts sitting for over a year was ridiculous. IMG_0849.JPG I...

Had these windows for a while lol.

I don't think they will fit a super top but anyone is welcome to try. I believe it's for a Bestop replace a top or factory only.

Gonna try a set of Maxxis radial trailer tires on the flat bed. Supposedly, they make a heavy duty trailer tire in class D or E 8-10 ply rating.

Ideally you want to break even or pay a little bit, but I still like to overpay and get a nice chunk of change back at once and do something fun with it.

What are you doing with your tax refund?

I'll start...

Just dropped the truck off for some transmission mods. Precision Triple Disc torque converter and an HD Trans Go Tugger kit with all the pump mods. Figured I'd need to do this sooner or later with all the weight I'm pulling with the truck.
