wtb wrangler/cherokee gas tank and fuel pump set up for fi

i am doing a fi swap in my yj and need a tank and fuel pump set up.
cherokee or wrangler, i was told the tanks are the same, just let me know.

The tanks are not the same, but you could probably adapt an XJ pickup/pump to the YJ tank without much trouble.

alot of guys ive talked to about the swap say they fit with no modds.. idk.. ill find out i might have got a 96 tank that i can use.

I've done a number of EFI swaps, and gone both in-tank and external with the fuel pump. It has been my experience that external pumps don't live as long as in-tank units, but at the same time I've not had great luck with replacment in-tank pumps. Seems like the factory ones last quite a while, but even OEM replacement units have a much shorter life span?? Again, just my experience... All that said, it's been MUCH easier for me to just run an external pump and keep a spare in the rig just in case. Used it once on my old YJ when it failed up North of Cle Elum.

i just went and got a e2000 pump with all the stuff to swap it, kinda spendy but i figured it would work out for the best. i posted up a build thread.. might need ur help toby
