Complete Fuel Injection Set Up

Postby OldGreen » Sun May 01, 2011 6:02 pm

Throttle Body conversion kit for SBC/SBF/AMC/IH etc. V8. Came from Affordable Fuel Injection. It is optimum for a mild engine of 300 to 350 CI (5.0 to 5.7L).

Includes everything you need except the O2 sensor bung that needs to be welded into the exhaust and maybe some fuel line.

This converts your carbed engine to late 90s GM style throttle body (TBI) injection. I also have an adapter if your intake manifold only accepts a spread bore (quadrajet/thermoquad, etc.) carb. The kit itself is set up for a square bore manifold (Most Holly, Carter, and Edelbrock carbs. . .but not all. Ask first if you don't know).

$500 on this site. . .$600 on Craigslist.

Cash only. Firm on price. Kit sold new for $1300+.

It works well. I will even throw in the air filter housing.

Grumptastic. . .I can remove this tonight if you want? (I'm pretty well indisposed for the next couple of weeks)

I could also sell it with a complete, running AMC 304 that already has on board air, Edlebrock intake manifold, Flame Thrower coil, Crane electronic hall sensor ignition, RV Cam . .

and an AX15 Bell housing. .

for a little extra coin.

Come to think of it, you could rock this engine with the CJ5 roller I have in my other post. It is, after all, the engine that came out of the 5. . . .zoom zoom.

Is this sold? How well will it adjust to different cams, etc? I am assuming this is a closed loop system?

Not sold. As long as the cam isn't too big it will be OK. Aggressive cams with big vacuum drops at idle screw with the MAP sensor.

Yes, it is closed loop. You'd need an Oxygen sensor bung welded into your exhaust.
