Red Goat Fab would like to get a few of these bumpers out and get some feed back. Just starting to design parts for TJ and will be lots more.

First design is a 45" wide, high clearence, winch bumper.. Made of 3/16 CNC laser cut steel and bent on a CNC break press. The shackle tabs are CNC machined from 1x2" cold rolled steel. Shackle tabs are welded on both inside and outside of the bumper frame for a very secure tow point. Fairlead mount is 3/16 steel and bolts under the winch. The stinger are made of 1.75" DOM seamless tube bent and welded on too bumper.

The 20th is when the first set of laser cut parts will be ready. For this first set of bumpers the price will be $299 this will include the bumper with ends welded on, shackle tabe welded in and the Stinger. The fairlead mount will also come with it at this price.

Also have a rear bumper designed that fits over the rear cross member like a glove. I have not had one cut out yet bu hope to very soon. Also have Rock sliders, Tub finder and stearing box sliders in the works.

If anyone has a CJ, YK or JK that would let me get the measurments for bumpers and other parts. If you would like a part made for any models I dont have,would be willing to do the first one for cost.

Looks good, if you don't mind suggestions it might be a good idea to narrow the hoop to leave more room for lights on the side, and so that there is still front access to mounting bolts. Some people like to stick hooks on top as well as use the shackle mounts, can save time and headache in certain situations.

So was I, the first picture on the left in the string of photo's shows the factory sway bar in place and judging by the bumper being designed just like every other cookie cutter out there I'd say yes an anti rock would work too.

Yes the factory sway bar will work with this and the aftermarket swaybar system should work fine have not tried it my self yet.

As for the Cookie cutter design, I looked at doing it different ways and this one seemed the strongest. lots of 2x4" squar tube bumpers out there that cost more then what I will be charging. some of them require a whinch plate that can cost a lot of money. One of the other things that I did not like about the squar tube bumper is that they are just squar so they dont slide over stuff as easy, that is why I like the angle on the front of my bumper. Always open to new idea.

$299 for a complete bumper with winch/fairlead mount with no finish is a great deal. I also have a 33" wide the is just the width of the frame rails. The full width 55" is in the works also. Rear bumper that fits like a glove is designed just need to get pricing. Same with rocker armor. Will be starting front tube fenders asap also.

I think your bumpers look great (clean and well thought out) and that they are a good deal for jeeper folks upgrading the goofy factory bumper.

The thing that may bite you is the DOT cert. for aftermarket stuff -- I don't know much about this issue. I suspect your bumpers are stronger and more legal than many of our home made and factory bumpers.

Well the only thing about DOT is in washington state to be legal for onroad use had to be as wide as the track on the auto.

With almost every aftermarket off road product. They do state that is used for offroad use and to check local laws to use on highway.

about the only thign would be a reciever hitch used for towing would need the cert.
