Our guinea hens were running through the field today with approx 20 babies so I herded them into the barn and snagged 16 on of babies so if someone wants them I'm make them a good deal. OldGreen was just here and can vouch for the sweet song they sing. lol

I'll take to my dad. One of our chicken pens was broken into and we're down to a single full sized rooster. He might be interested.

Cool let me know. I'd like to find homes for these guys soon. I don't want 16 babies running around. I think I have 8 adult guineas and that is enough for me

So this would be like the menu for FYBR, or is that horribly inappropriate.

You raise them you can do whatever you want with them. Right now you wouldn't really get a whole lot out of them, but I guess it would be tender the chicken version of veal?

No takers for these little guys? Any ideas on what I can do with them? Craigslist hasn't been much help either

Still gotta talk to my Dad, forgot to mention it last evening. At the very least they can run wild out here in mattawa. Used to have a pretty large wild flock a few years back.

I think raising a bunch of pheasants and quail would be awesome. Then they could run around the place and have as many babies as they wanted and I wouldn't care. lol
