Mehlenbacher farms. We both worked there 5 years ago but it was seasonal at the time. Now they have grown leaps and bounds and want me back. Hard to say no to way more money, benefits etc. :D

I worked for the Mehlenbacher farms when they first moved to the TC from ID. They bought 3 separate farms out in the blocks off Dogwood Rd. Back then it was Leon and Quinton then. I worked for them for about 3 years, summers when I was in high school and going to CBC. Quinton passed on quite a while ago and Leon about 2 years ago. Great people to work for. Haven't had much contact except for Leon when he was alive.

Tell Allen that Dan Foley says hi, would ya, WT?

Thanks

Sure thing Danny. I know uncle Allen pretty well, I'm sure we'll run into each other. :D

After Phillips dad passed years ago Merlene took over and ran with it keeping thing going best she could. She passed a couple years ago and that left Phillip to either make it or break it. The kid has taken it from an 800 tons a year operation when I last worked there to now over 4500 tons.
