street tire vs wheeling tire. however while we're on the subject of guard dogs, what i feared was true. the sidewalls are hard and do not give when slid along a jagged surface. they tend to chunk off in pieces or easilly cut. one trip and there is a 1/2"W x 1-1/2"L x 1/8"-1/16"D piece missing. close by to that one is 2-1/2" long gash that looks pretty bad.

No problem. If you hear about any more cheaper 79s let me know. I love the look of them and really want one

Judging by the prices, I think every wrangler owner feels this way about thier jeeps. Especially TJ owners.

I wonder why he is parting it. Don't usually see wranglers go on the chopping block.

went to look at it today, mostly a 97 but he currently does not have a title. looks like it used to be red, sanded down with 80 grit and white washed with flat white paint. details are;

straight 6
auto (sitting next to it under a tarp)
no drivelines
stock suspension
set of 4 leaf springs inside jeep (look to be aftermarket, probably YJ)
LP 30 front, 35 rear
3 worn out 35" thornbirds on 15x10 aluminum america racing wheels
front and rear bumpers look to be smittybilt prerunner style
3 fender flares removed from outside of jeep , 4 inside the jeep
soft top and frame with door surrounds inside jeep, probably TJ.
soft uppers inside jeep in rough shape
rear lights removed, clear LED lights inside jeep
YJ hard top
TJ half doors
Windshield frame rusted through
spare YJ windshield frame in the garage
spare metal CJ rear lift gate in the garage
rear YJ lift gate glass has been replaced with plexiglass
rear seat
front seats hard too tell, stuff stacked on top

he is willing to sell whole, supposedly getting title this wekend?

Did he say what he wanted for it whole? I texted him yesterday, but never got an answer.

What type of flares? YJ or TJ? I still want to put TJ flares on my XJ

he said a couple of grand cash but i think you could get it for less.

i wanna say TJ flares because of the triangular side marker light hole.

That's all stock stuff Dave, Tim wouldn't know what to do with them except clutter his garage. I've got an EB in my garage and there's lots of old stock stuff laying around no one wants.

The 241 will be 23 spline input and the 231 input spline can be changed easily using factory parts to make it whatever spline you need. The 6 planetary gearset is an upgrade from either a zr2, 231 hd or 241 that replaces the 3 planetary gearset. That's a good deal, I gave $525 for my adapter alone.

For a slow moving rock rig they are top notch. $50 for 14" of 1/2" walled slip is hard to beat. I bounced on the same driveline for the whole time I had my truck and it's still in good shape. I wouldn't recommend a square driveline for a high speed snow rig or for freeway duty however. Mine was good to about 50, I liked my bearings too much to push it over that.
