WTB - Diamond plating for side panels, lighting

Postby FreakingNomad » Mon Oct 28, 2013 5:22 pm

I'm willing to buy online but anybody local have some extra diamond plating to armor the side panels of my 2d JK?? Also looking for PIAA or similar driving lighting kit with amps, wiring harness, relay, windshield mounting bracket hardware.

Can't really help you out with parts except google is your friend or maybe check the vendor section on pirate4x4.
I can say, if you plan on running trails, the window mounted lights may not be the best position, trees have a tendency to reach out and grab things, especially in the snow.

Hmm. Thanks for the tip. Would a LED bar across the top be a better choice in your opinion?

Personally, I don't like anything that will reflect off the hood. Keep your lights on the front below the hoodline. Some of the guys have light bars above their winches that seen to work well.

I paid $130 for that light bar at the puyallup 4x4 swap meet last spring. It works really good and so far has held up great. Love the rubicon pic!!
