I'm interested in ordering a set of Super Swamper Irok radials 36x13.5x15. Any advice on where I should look?

You could also check Discount Tire locally. They can order just about anything and they do a price match too.

if you buy them from Portland you get no sales tax

also you might call interco direct they often are the cheapest that way

Well I got my prices, the best I found were at 4WheelParts in Portland. Now the decision is Bias or Radial? Bias in the 36x13.5x15 are slightly taller; wider, lighter and $73 a tire cheaper in the same tire as the radial. Now $292 at 4 tires sounds good but wheeling for 5 years on tires that I'd regret would suck.

Any thoughts?

I do not depend on my Jeep as a daily driver. I trailer it to the trails but with that said I do like to walk it around the block every now and then.

tough call, every now and then you'd have to put up with flat spots, wouldn't you?

I run the 36" bias. They don't bag real well in the snow but still work ok. Everywhere else they are awesome. I would like to try a set of radials and see how they are in the snow.

Are these going on your TJ Curits? I can't recall if you had bead locks, but I would think those would almost be a requirement if you went with bias.

I almost bought Iroks last year and was having the same dilemma. I think the bias also have slightly deeper thread depth if I remember right. I was leaning towards the radials myself, but I planned on running them in the snow only.

I plan on running them on my TJ and do have beadlocks with the radial Irocks on them now with about 60% tread. The guy at 4Wheel Parts was pushing the bias over the radials since I trailer and have beadlocks.

Fwiw 37 irok radials would be my choice

The 36s are actually taller.

I have a set of 37" bias and 39.5" bias, both on beadlocks. I start out in the snow at 5 psi and usually end the day at 2 psi.

Yes the 36s are taller but the 37s mimic the 42s in tread design more

Radials are the direction I went.
I wouldn't run a bias, there is just to many negatives that come with them.
They fold when aired down, flat spots, the tread isn't flat it tries to be rounded, the tread doesn't mold around the obstacles as good.
The only bad on the radial in my opinion is the side walls are a little softer.

I had to make the same decision when I bout my Iroks, If I had to do it again I would do it the same.
