"THE" LJ

Postby tobyw » Sat Jul 22, 2017 6:17 am

*** Can't link Photobucket pics anymore :banghead , have to look at CL ad for pics. Or some of the run reports... ***

2004 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is the extended wheelbase version of the TJ Wrangler, commonly referred to as the LJ. I've spent the last 3 years building this Jeep from bone stock to what it is today. Works perfectly both on and off the road, would not hesitate to drive it across the country and wheel just about any trail on the way there or back. It's been used but not abused, has taken our family across trails in nearly every Western state from 14,000ft peaks in Colorado, to the slickrock of Moab, to the boulders of the Rubicon Trail, and the sandy beaches of Southern California. Consistent 15-16mpg on the freeway, slightly lower just running around town.

* 2-1/2" suspension system with all (8) adjustable control arms
* 1.25" body lift
* Bilstien remote reservoir shocks
* Rear shocks outboarded in custom mounts
* Currie Anti-Rock front sway bar
* 35x12.5-15 Goodyear MTR-Kevlar tires on factory wheels, 1.5" wheel spacers
* Bumpstops are set perfectly to avoid fender contact, suspension setup is flawless
* 4.88:1 gears
* Eaton E-lockers front and rear (newer 4-pin versions)
* Lube-Locker differential cover gaskets
* Tummy tuck skid plate
* 1" motor mount lift
* B&M transmission cooler
* Autometer transmission temp gauge
* Custom rollcage tied into the frame
* Custom rock sliders
* Custom rear bumper
* LED light bar
* On board air using a second A/C compressor (factory A/C still functions normally)
* Cruise control

Jeep has a lot of custom work done and performs flawlessly, but it's time to move on. Asking $19,000 which will include the factory soft top, hard top, and a full-length bikini tip. WINCH IS NOT INCLUDED. If you want a lower price, we can negotiate the top(s). Otherwise, price is firm and if you are in the market for an LJ, you know this one cannot be replicated for anywhere close to this price.

Will consider partial trade on JKU build items like Pro-Rock axles, Raceline wheels, or an ARB fridge :cool:

I figured it would sell fast. Someone got a sweet rig.
I don't Text (at least not very well), I eat Blackberrys, and I only Twitter after sex...
