Anyone have an extra transfer case?

Does anyone have an NP231 they would part with?
I have a standard SYE installed and after stuffing the 8.8 in the back my angles are less than ideal and I'm chewing through driveshafts like crazy.

I'm doing a mega-short sye, 1" MML, ordering a better driveshaft and lowering the jeep 1" possibly

I had the same issue on my tj 8.8 swap, i ended up cutting the upper control arms and lengthening them to change the angle. Worked great and way cheaper. When i could afford several years later I went with fully adjustable control arms and pushed everything back by 2 inches. Tj dave has a great write up on the wrangler forum for re locating the rear spring pockets to make it even better.

Yeah I have nice fully adjustable control arms all around, clearanced the gas tank and skid a little and pushed everything back as far as I could, track bar rubs a little but nothing to worry about.

Between the axle diameter increase and the truss dimensions it lifted everything about another inch. Pinion angle is sitting at about 15°. Most of the problem is from havitoo much droop, but I really don't want to go the limiting strap route

I see why going for extra short sye kit. Which np231 are you looking for. Manual or automatic?

I should have been more specific, are you looking for a np231 from a manual transmission or automatic due to spline length. I've got some friends at work who might have some extra parts.

If you can't find a manual, the input gear is an easy swap if you find an auto.
