Wanted: Stock TJ rear lower control arm

Postby Lud » Wed Sep 03, 2008 3:44 pm

Basically between Webber Canyon and Rimrock I've bent the rear driver's side control arm pretty badly, enough to actually shorten my wheelbase on the driver's side. :)

Would like to know if anyone has a stock one laying around. Maybe one from a Cheorkee might work?

I agree with you. These stock arms fold like lawn chairs, they're so thin.

Just trying to get by till tax return when I get either long arms or adjustable arms at the minimum.

Can you straighten it and box it to make it hold?

I think if I get I could straighten it out if I get it unbolted.

Rob, I have some in the scrap trailer if you want to go dumpster diving.

And if you came up with the metal I'm sure they could get plated before you bolt them on . . .
