Loose lug nuts

It was just a little snow run...

Like I told Todd that day, I don't do anything NICE to this old guy!

Heard a clunk on the way down the hill to the trailers, looked it over and didn't find obvious broken parts. At home I found 5 of the 6 studs were loose. I jacked it up and pulled the tire off. While the studs looked good they had LOTS of aluminum crammed in the threads but cleaned up nicelywith a wire brush. The wheel lug holes didn't fair so well. The hole farthest from the one tight nut is now slotted and the other 4 holes gradually less bad as you get closer to the good one.

Everything tightened up fine, but will it hold?
