I'm personally not mad at the plan as long as you are easy on the skinny pedal and don't get bound up in compound low.

I have an Aussie (actually, two Aussies) in my Jeep. Once you learn to drive with them on the street, they aren't "that" bad UNTIL the weather gets hot and the tires get sticky. You WILL have violent unloading, lurching, etc.

The front one is only an issue on pavement when doing full lock u-turns.

On the dirt, the front end will push a little and decrease your turning radius. In my opinion, that will make you have to do some 33 point turns on the trail.

Just making you aware based on practical experience.

Now, this is the part that you aren't going to want to hear: You may want to bring whatever tools are necessary to remove that stinger. You are wheelin' a Prevost Bus on trails that were build for a 59"x80" square box. Making it even longer is going to be really frustrating.

BTW: Here is the entrance to Leaning Tree:

I can see the Leaning Tree just to the right of drivers front tire. How cute!

Spare tire carrier arrived yesterday. I'm working 10:00-2:00 today and will be installing after work. It's the same OR Fab carrier I installed on the wife's Rubicon so install should go pretty smoothly the second time around. Ill post some pix up later.

Ordered a couple of quick fist clamps for my ax and shovel. Should be here next Wednesday. Got a family trip next weekend, but would love to go play the following week sometime. Maybe hover or one of the weber canyons...

Left axle seal still leaking. actually leaking worse than it was before I had it replaced. Going to give it one more go around this weekend. hoping to get some bonus money from Nissan here in the next couple weeks, upgrading my fenders to XRC Armored ones. they are only about $200 more than the ORFab armor i was originally looking at getting but cover more yardage and look cool as hell! I cant wait to take this thing to Rubicon and raise hell!

Why don't you cover it with fiberglass mat and then some fake carbon fiber decals? I used some graphite impregnated epoxy to water proof a wood project and it looked cool -- dark graphite color.
