Looks like a lot of work. I think that I would make a convertable out of my truck if I rolled very hard -- kinda hope that project never develops.

Meh it's a bit of work but it is EASY work. It lets you get to things you normally can't get to while the cab is off so you can improve and upgrade. While that cab is off I'll put the shackle tubes in the frame, it doesn't get much easier to do then while the cab isn't in the way. :D

Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

I wheeled my dd's for years... The 90 got driven everywhere including several trips to the Portland area and I was never nice to it at all. I look forward to driving to and from the beatings once again. :D

The shape of the ifs frame is basically flat and actually dips down by the front body mount so the torsion bars can pass over the top. Lots of people do sas's on ifs frames but at the expense of uptravel and pitman arm clearance. The 4x solid axle and 2x frames are the same shape so they lend themselves to keeping the suspension low with plenty of uptravel. :D
