i used 3/4 butyl tape from the RV store, and extruded flashing from http://teardroptrailerparts.com/Hinges___Aluminum_Trim.html

Aluminum 8' Trim Edge Molding

the 1/4' is not enough coverage I made it work on one side but cut it too close on the other, i made custom trim for the hatch using drop aluminum pieces, and If I could do it again i would flash the whole thing again using custom pieces

I did the calculations on my trailer water tank today and it holds approximately 30 gallons, that is just over 250lbs of water

Building a capable off roader is easy, building a street legal one that you can wheel and then drive daily is the challenge...

I went up to liberty laborday last year, , so this was the second trip out, I am changing how the hatch seals, because i learned that it does not seal with the hatch open in the rain, and i also learned that the cooler drain, must be closed!! because mine was open and as my ice melted it made a mess in the kitchen :?

My off road Toyota is now wired and has an 8" drop hitch, now i just need to fabricate an attachment for my safety chains, and i can see how my trailer tows behind it
