tube fender build up

Postby DefiantSD » Sun Mar 11, 2012 4:59 pm

Hey just got my second set of tube fenders from ccf, not impressed. it is good quality steel and pieces but while putting them together i encountered many problems.

They didnt send all the correct pieces and i had to make 1 full set out of 2. They did not send cutting or welding instructions.

So after calling i got them Emailed to me, While putting it together the bends in the tubes were 1/2 -1" off and did not line up, after calling and asking WTF?!?! they just said am i sure.... so i pulled out the torch and ended up rebending and trimming pieces to end up with this

Tube fenders are EASY to build, I've never owned a Jeep and I've built a set

Chalk this up as a learning experience and next time remember that there are several tube benders on this board and the owners of such like beer.
