Them gear boxes thrill me to death :thu2: That 5spd gonna be soooo nice on the hiway :!: Not so sure what I think about the clocking ring. I have some issues with how it's fitting together :glare:

Thanks :!: In and amongst some of the domestic chores, we may get the t-case in this weekend. Try to put Steve on that, as I need to study on getting the new pool filter plumbed. Mama says :winkk:

Like what? That is the same setup that I have and it works perfectly.

This one was a quality control joke. The screws that hold the clocking ring weren't seating, thus leaving a space between it and the spacer ring. Didn't much like seeing daylite in there. Had to run over to Jose's so he could deepen the counter sink. Now everything fits to my anal retentive standards :lip: :D

Oh, James, now that I think about it, when's a good time for you to insert some advice on getting the hydraulics hooked up on the clutch :?: If I'm lucky, I'll have the t-case in and mount the slave today. Some talk of getting things hooked up and getting it back on the ground so we can drive it and get any bugs worked out of the engine, clutch, etc.

Mine didn't come with any either. . .you are going to need to take a trip to the hardware store for a clevis pin anyway, so just take the master/slave with you.

Also, make sure that you don't take the dang thing apart or you are out a Benjamin and have to start over.

So, OG and I did some preliminary work on the location for the clutch hydraulics last nite :conf: Suffice to say, Bubba gonna get to do some tin work :!: The needed location to get everything to line up right comes out in the upper curve of the inner fender just outside the brake booster :glare: Gotta pull the booster to get room to work. I'll take a stab at getting pix of the affected area up later...Of course, if'n some folks had listened to the voice of experience, we may not have had to have so much fun :glare: Jim, I will start to see what I can do to make things less painful next trip over. And don't take old grumpy too serious

Well, got me out to the garage and started test fitting the t-case  Not going like I had hoped  If I roll it up where I'd like, it hits the floor. If I roll it to where that's taken care of, the shifter mount on the t-case hits the back of the trans :curse: And if I keep going down for that, it'll hang down below the frame :glare: :madd:

I fixed the crossmember on a Scout 2 yesterday and the corner of the T case stuck below the frame just a little

It is going to hang below the frame unless you do some tin work on the passenger side floor. My advice is "get a hammer" and go for the flat belly.
