so im putting together a willys wagone currently and i would like to know what you guys like to use for body mount materal

the frame is a Toyota boxed frame and will eventually get a cage...internal that will be mounted only to the frame with holes drilled through the body for mounting no samwich plates ect

they will need to be about one inch tall

i was thinking a poly, you can buy round stock in foot long sections, and just drill them out to bolt size and cut to length

i would just like some input

Seem to remember reading someplace that hockey pucks were a bad idea for body mounts as they don't last that long under constant pressure. Could be wrong though.

My jeep body mounts are poly, you can probably get a set of 1" jeep mounts really cheap. Don't know how many you need or how much poly round stock costs.

that has come across my mind but if i remember they are about a 3" diameter and i was looking for something a little smaller for packaging but didnt know if someting around 1.5" (factory willys rubbers were about this size) would be too small

I think I'd just grab some CJ5 body mount bushings and be done with it.

Yeah, I have actually bought a few of those packages and used them for various things.
