Way to go Chris. Obviously it is a big project but you'll have something really cool when you're done. I hope that you make it street legalish. That way you can take it on an occasional beer run to the mini-mart and see how fast a cool T0Y0TA attracts a mob of aficionados

Yes I'm going to try and make it street legal as possible. The biggest none street legal part is my full hydro steering. But will see what I come up with :lol:

that wont get you pulled over... its more of a dot stop kind of thing i have been there when a friends sami got pulled over and left without tickets and had full hydro

first reson is because Toyota 4runners have a huge problem with the rear window going up and down and i did not want to deal with it. second i wanted a small bed. and if i ever need to carrie extra gas i did not want it inside with the kids. yes i know i could have just bought a 4door tacoma but i wanted project to bulid. and i can say this is the first onw around here that i know of. i have not seen one in this area yet.

i probley would never get stopped for it but its also really sensitve on the road.

Looks cool. The bed section turned out really well. Did you weld a panel below the window to seal it all off?

Well after getting quotes on pant and primer of 400 bucks I was not going to pay that much for something and the wheel it. So I used rust oleum oil based. Smoked gray for primer and sail blue for the blue. Its kinda tricky to spray but we got it. Its the same paint I used on the truck. The one big down fall is it takes forever to dry. I'm in to paint and wet sand paper 80 bucks. My buddy got me the sand paper to sand the original color off.
