Custom flares? Or are JK Sahara flares different than TJ's as far as color goes.

So here is what i know and some of what I dont know... 3" BDS Suspension lift with sway bar disconnects. Rubicrawler. 4:10 gears. Eaton PosiTrac rear axle. Mickey Thompson 315/75R17. Dick Cepek wheels. LED hood mounted light bar. LED windshield mounted lights. Blue LED rock lights. The axles are what I dont know, just what the previous owner told my buddy who sold it to me... :yahoo

Because I can scratch this one with out the wife freaking out. The Rubicon being like a 40k rig and all. Besides, got a smokin deal on this one and its built pretty solid already. I can tinker with it all I want because its "ALL MINE!" Mwahahahaha!

You should go ahead and swap Lance's axle in when he tears it out of his JK.

I would love to have the locker out of it, but it just makes more sense for you to have it. It would be an easy peasy swap, and Lance would not have to gut it to sell me just the locker.

I can sacrifice for a fellow PP, and get something for mine when my work situation gets better.

If you want it. Let me know, cause I'll still grab the locker if you don't want the whole axle.

Lance, you copy?

Not sure which direction I'm gonna go yet with regards to the front axle. I guess we play it by ear. I need to take it out and play a little with the rubicrawler...

Need to have someone fabricate a tubular "stinger" for my front bumper. Also need a bracket made for the fair lead that is somehow not on the jeep. Anyone have a pipe bender? And the skills to cut and weld it up for me? I'm free next weekend. This weekend is booked...

RUBICRAWLER!! I've been drooling at those for years to go in the "empty spot" in my 42rle.

I am very interested to hear your review. Although I probably can't afford one for a while.

If you got a good deal, do you think you could make a bit of profit selling it?

You've already got a really nice 4-door. If it were me, I'd be thinking about selling it, buying a TJ and using the spare cash for some really nice upgrades.

You'd fit in the mountains a lot better, wouldn't be as heavy, and you'd have to worry even less about scratching it.

Got a smokin deal, not interested in making a profit. Interested in keeping the wifey happy. She has her pretty red Rubicon, and I have my toy. I'm partial to the JKU. This one is built up pretty good and won't take much to make it better.

Can't argue with that. The silver color and wheel combo is pretty darn nice as well.

You should paint the hood flat black with the lights mounted like that.

(takes off desert racer hat)

Plus, it would look cool. 8)

Hood louver is black powder coated and hood light bar is coming off. Not sure what I'm gonna do with it. Wifey wants it mounted on the stinger of the Rubicon.
